Lifespan Integration

Lifespan Integration is a therapeutic method developed by Peggy Pace.  This unique style of therapy uses the individual’s timeline to heal past painful experiences and integrate the self through time.

Lifespan Integration uses memory cues supplied by the individual for each year of his or her life to prove that the painful event is over.  A recipient of Lifespan Integration finds that, after several repetitions of these memory cues, the pain of the experience is released.   As a result, old dysfunctional patterns of behavior give way to new, healthy behaviors.

People who have experienced trauma may find themselves triggered by events in the present even after talking about their traumatic experiences for months or years in traditional talk therapy.  Lifespan Integration is a powerful and effective body-mind therapy designed to heal the body and brain from the trauma by proving to the body that the event is over, which relieves distressing symptoms such as flashbacks, nightmares, disrupted sleep, and hypervigilance.
